Date of event: (b)(6) 2021.Date of report: 26feb2021.
 
Event Description
The hospital rep reported that "alarm led failed" had occurred during a pre-use check.The customer contacted product support and requested for service repair.The service center confirmed occurrence of "check vent: alarm led failed" and confirmed it was recorded in the drpt.The customer reported that the unit was not in use on a patient.Found during pre-use check.No delay noted.The service technician reported that the power switch overlay needs replacing.The scheduled repair completion date is not fixed due to awaiting approval of a quote from the customer.Philips was not authorized to conduct the repair at this time.The complaint will be reopened if a sample is evaluated or if new information becomes available.
