Event Description
|
The customer reported a ventilator experienced a 35v failure during testing.The device was not in clinical use at the time the issue was discovered.There was no patient or user harm reported.There was no delay to patient therapy.

The device was evaluated by the customer and a philips remote service engineer (rse).The philips international field service engineer (fse) replaced the power management (pm) board.The unit was functionally tested and successfully passed all testing.The unit was returned to service.No other anomaly was reported.Upon further investigation, it was reported that the 35 v failure was found during testing.The device was not in clinical use at the time the issue was discovered.There was no patient or user harm reported.There was no delay to patient therapy.Therefore this complaint no longer meets reportability requirements.
