Event Description
Information was received from a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for unknown indications for use.It was reported that two years ago the patient had an electrical surge that went through their body and went crazy and made it so the patient could not walk.They were not sure what happened and fell and lost their balance.The patient caught themselves on their wrist and their wrist broke.The patient met with a manufacturer representative who fixed the problem.The patient stated their stimulation was too strong and wasn't working so they had worked with the patient.

Event Description
Additional information was reported that the circumstances that led to the electrical surgery was a change to the device programming/starting to have pain.The patient changed the settings to help the surge, and the surge was so strong that the patient fell.The patient worked with staff to adjust programming, and they have not no pain or problems.
