Information was received from a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins). It was reported that for the past 2 weeks, they are getting burned by their recharger. The patient said when they try to recharge their "battery pack" (patient services confirmed that the patient was speaking about their implant) the recharger burns their skin. The patient said the black box and the little attachment that goes to the paddle gets real hot.The patient also mentioned that part of the recharger (rtm) looked frayed. The patient was unsure if the rtm actually left a burn mark on their skin as they cannot see back there. The patient said they don't let it burn them too long before they put something in between the rtm and their skin.An email was sent to the repair department to replace the device.

Additional information was received. It was reported the recharger burning the patient's skin was resolved.
