Event Description
Information was received from a patient's representative regarding an implantable neurostimulator (ins).The reason for call was caller said the pt have been hurting for a while (since 2021) for they were not able to connect to their lead in their back for they were not feeling stimulation as before.Pt had groups a and b and the pt did not feel stimulation in their lower back for they only felt stimulation in their butt.Caller stated that the pt had increased the stimulation but they were still unable to feel stimulation in their lower back.The patient was redirected to their healthcare provider to further address the issue.Additional information was received from the patient.The patient reported that the circumstances that led to the issue was severe pain and no stimulation.The patient called to find out if their unit could be tested.After testing, it was shown that the unit wasn't working.The patient reported that the battery was replaced and it worked super.
 
Event Description
Additional information was received from the patient which clarified previously reported information.It was reported that the battery replacement was referring to their previous implantable neurostimulator (2nd implant).This was previously captured in manufacturer report # 3004209178-2021-08204.The patient noted that their current implant charges fast.
