Event Description
According to the reporter, during a robotic-assisted transabdominal preperitoneal inguinal hernia procedure, the surgeon noticed that there was a hole in the mesh when the mesh was about to be placed in the patient. A new device was used to resolve the issue and complete the case. There was no patient injury.
