Event Description
It was reported that during a meniscal transplant procedure, the metal "handles" at the proximal end of two meniscus mender broke away from shafts and it was very difficult to manipulate the snare. The procedure was completed without significant delay using the same device with a clip to hold the proximal end of the shafts. No patient injury or other complications were reported.
