The customer reported that the unit would not charge the batteries, the fse spoke with the operator on the phone and asked if the unit was fully docked into the cart, and it was not.Once the unit was properly docked the batteries started to charge as normal, there was no repair service necessary.The fse had an open pm for this unit so he went onsite and completed a full pm and system test.The fse then performed a full pm with calibration, functional and safety checks to meet factory specifications.The iabp was then released to the customer and cleared for clinical service.A supplemental report will be submitted upon completion of our investigation.Device not returned to manufacturer.
