Event Description
|
It was reported from (b)(6) that the rotation of the electric pen drive device was sometimes unstable.It was further reported that the device stopped working by itself and vibration was also confirmed in the inspection.The event did not occur during surgery.It was not reported if a spare device was available.There was no patient involvement reported.There were no reports of injuries, medical intervention or prolonged hospitalization.The exact date of the event was unknown.However, it was reported that the event occurred in 2021.All available information has been disclosed.If additional information should become available, a supplemental medwatch report will be submitted accordingly.
