Information was received from a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for non-malignant pain.The reason for call was pt stated that they believe that where the ins is placed in their lower back may be hitting a nerve when they lay down.Pt said that they sleep on their right side and that they noticed a new pain on that side at the implant site about a month ago.Pt mentioned that they have mentioned this to the doctor they see monthly, (b)(6), and that doctor referred them back to the implant doctor (b)(6).The patient was redirected to their healthcare provider to further address the issue.Pt mentioned they tried to ask the doctor questions just after the surgery, but was still tired due to the anesthesia and fell asleep.
