It was reported that the patient had an infection.The patient underwent an explant procedure.The explanted ipg and lead were discarded.

It was reported that the patient had an infection.The patient underwent an explant procedure.The explanted ipg and lead were discarded.Additional information received that the patients infection was located at the ipg site.Symptoms of burning, redness, swelling and pus at the incision site.It was also stated that the infection was device related and nothing happened that contributed infection.The patient was prescribed bactrim.
