|
According to the reporter, during surgery for malignant tumor of the upper jaw, activation of the device was difficult, sealing could not be achieved even when the patient grasped the catheter.They used another device with the same generator and worked fine.There was no patient injury.

Event Description
|
According to the reporter, during surgery for malignant tumor of the upper jaw, activation of the device was difficult, sealing could not be achieved even when the patient grasped the catheter.During the process, the device broke, resulting in broken pieces such as chipped insulation.Because it was unknown whether the item had fallen into the patients cavity, there was no additional medical procedures performed to remove it.They used another device with the same generator and worked fine.There was no patient injury.
