Event Description
It was reported that, during distal bur of the femur in a cori assisted tka surgery, the surgeon was not able to clear the green on the screen.Even when surgeon used a saw to try and get more green off, screen still showed green left when he went back over distal femur with the bur; a non significant delay was reported. However, it is unknown how the procedure was completed. The patient outcome is also unknown.

Manufacturer Narrative
Section h10: additional information received by the manufacturer has identified that this event should be re-evaluated for mdr reporting. The new information states that there was no problem detected with the console and that the reported issue was due to the robotic drill¿s exposure motor that had unthreaded, which likely prevented full exposure of the bur, resulting in the inability to burr the remaining green bone (already reported under the report reference number of 3010266064-2022-00211 (our reference number (b)(4)).Therefore, it was determined that this case does not meet the threshold for reporting and is a non-reportable event. If further details are provided confirming the occurrence of a reportable event, our files will be updated accordingly and a further report submitted outlining both the event details and our investigations performed.Internal complaint reference number: (b)(4).
