Event Description
Information was received from a healthcare professional (hcp) via a clinical study regarding a patient receiving hydromorphone 5 mg at 0.71981 mg/day, bupivacaine 20 mg at 2.87925 mg/day, and clonidine 400 mcg at 57.585 mcg/day via an implantable pump.It was reported on (b)(6) 2021 during a pump refill, a reservoir volume discrepancy was noted where the interrogated reservoir volume (irv) was 24.1 ml and the actual reservoir volume (arv) was 28 ml.There was no associated signs or symptoms.No further diagnostics or interventions were performed/no action was taken.On (b)(6) 2021 the reservoir volume discrepancy was within normal limits where the irv was 26.9ml and the arv was 26 ml.The outcome of the event resolved without sequelae on (b)(6) 2021.The etiology of the event indicated the relationship of the event to the device or therapy was related and indicated the relationship of the event to the implant procedure was not related.
