Event Description
It was reported that the patient required a hematoma evacuation approximately one week post-cardiac resynchronization therapy pacemaker (crt-p) implant with an antibacterial absorbable envelope.  a new envelope was used when the device was placed back in the pocket. no further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
 
Event Description
It was later reported that pseudomonas was found from swabs taken during the evacuation.The crt-p system was removed due to the infection approximately two weeks post-evacuation.
