Event Description
It was reported that difficulty removal and deflation failure occurred.The 99% stenosed target lesion was located in the left anterior descending artery.A 38 x 3.00 promus premier drug-eluting stent was advanced for treatment.However, after deployment, difficulty removal of the balloon was encountered.Five to ten seconds passed for balloon deflation however, the balloon did not deflate at all.The operator pulled hard to remove the balloon and there were no fragments of the device left in the patient's body.The stent had been successfully deployed and the procedure was completed.No patient complications were reported and the patient condition post procedure was stable.
