Event Description

Information was received from a healthcare provider regarding a patient who was receiving baclofen (asked, unk mcg/ml at 63.39 mcg/day) via an implantable pump for unknown indications for use.It was reported that the healthcare provider (hcp) reported for about a week now, the patient has been having nausea, vomiting and somnolence and they think it was due to baclofen toxicity. The hcp reported the patient has been admitted to the hospital. The hcp mentioned the last refill was back in july. The pump was not audibly alarming and the hcp stated they would like to have a representative come and turn off the pump.Troubleshooting was unable to be performed due to lack of device. The hcp was redirected to the national answering service.
