Event Description
It was reported that a pocket infection was identified at the patient¿s follow-up visit approximately 5 ½ weeks post the patient¿s device change with an antibacterial absorbable envelope.There were wound concerns, dehiscence on lateral aspect of wound, skin indurated and fixed to lateral aspect of device.It was noted that the patient had a competitor implantable cardioverter defibrillator (icd) system which was explanted.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
