Event Description
Information was received from a healthcare provider (hcp) regarding a patient who was receiving baclofen (2000 mcg/ml at 160.2 mcg/day) via an implantable pump for intractable spasticity and cerebral palsy. It was reported that upon pump interrogation on (b)(6) 2022, the pump showed code 99 & 100.The hcp initially stated that the patient had no change in tone and did not hear the pump alarm. The hcp stated that the patient was highly anxious so the hcp was going to keep the discussion high-level while in the room. The hcp called from another office and stated that the patient was in the emergency department for potential pump failure on (b)(6) 2022 where an mri was performed. The patient was also in their office on (b)(6) 2022 to address a medical concern but it appeared the pump was never interrogated at that time and the hcp did not confirm that there was actually ever a pump issue outside of stating that the patient was in the emergency department in (b)(6) and an mri was done. The telemetry mode issue was resolved by interrogating the pump again and a recovery was noted. It was reviewed to proceed with refill the pump at this point.

Event Description
Additional information received from the healthcare provider who reported that the patient did not go to the emergency department. There was no concern for pump failure. The patient was seen for regularly scheduled pump refill when the codes showed up on interrogation. The pump reset without concerns.
