Event Description
It was reported that, during the implant procedure, the leadless implantable pulse generator (ipg) introducer sheath was unable to facilitate the withdrawal of blood from the patient, only the air was drawn out.Multiple attempts were unsuccessful.The surgeon suspected that there was a problem with the hemostatic valve on the delivery sheath.The introducer sheath was attempted/not used and replaced. no patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
