Event Description
It was reported that the patient (pt) has had issues the last 2 months where their recharger (rtm)  would not respond when attempting to recharge their implant.Pt would reset the controller; sometimes that would work and other times it would not.Then maybe in the last 2 days while recharging their ins, the rtm was very hot and burning their skin, pt noted it left a red mark where the cord was.Pt noted that their ins was no longer charging and the ins battery was almost fully discharged, battery would be dead very soon.A replacement rtm was requested.
