Event Description
It was reported that during compounding with two (2) exactamix 2400 valve sets, the volume of the final product was greater than 3% off.The technician called baxter customer service, who had the technician switch to another port, but this did not resolve the issue.Upon follow-up, the customer reported that they noticed air on port 22 where dextrose 70% was hanging.There was no damage observed to the valve sets.There was no patient involvement.No additional information is available.

H4: the lot was manufactured between april 07, 2022 - april 12, 2022.H10: one (1) actual device was received for evaluation.Visual inspection did not identify any abnormalities that could have contributed to the reported condition.System level testing was performed and a leak or volume issue was not observed.The sample was evaluated by attaching a solution to ports 2 and 22 and then analyzed at various points throughout the prime and verify process and pump calibration process.No leaks or bubbles were observed.The reported conditions were not verified.A batch review was conducted and there were no deviations found related to this reported condition during the manufacture of this lot.Should additional relevant information become available, a supplemental report will be submitted.
