Event Description
Medtronic received a report that the patient experienced a hemorrhagic transformation stroke.A 24 hour post-procedure inmaging showed an intraparenchymal hemorrhage remote from the ischemic field (rih) without symptoms.The patient was recovering at the time of the report.The event was casually related to the disease under study but not related to the underlying condition or disease.The adverse event was not related to a device deficiency.The site related assessment determined the event was not related to the device or study procedure.The sponsor assessment determined the event was possibly related to the study procedure.The patient was undergoing treatment of a clot in the internal carotid artery (ica) below carotid t of the right hemisphere.The patient's pre-procedure mtici score was 0 and final post-procedure was 2c.The patient's mrs score was 0.The patient's nihss score was 17.
