Event Description

According to the reporter, during an emergency laparoscopic procedure, when the lf1937 was held with the right hand and outputted with the foot switch, it was the forceps held with the left hand which was a non-medtronic device that activated.It was reported that there was a pinhole in the glove and a small burn in the palm.

According to the reporter, during an emergency laparoscopic procedure, when the device was held with the right hand and outputted with the foot switch, it was the forceps held with the left hand which was a non-medtronic device that activated.It was reported that there was a pinhole in the glove and a small burn in the palm.It was reported that since it was only a small burn, no particular treatment has been performed and there was no further problem with the surgeon after the procedure.It was reported that there was no issue with the footswitch.
