Event Description
Information was received from multiple sources (manufacturer representative, healthcare provider) regarding a patient who was receiv ing unknown baclofen (2,000 mcg/m; at 1905 mcg/day) via an implantable pump for intractable spasticity and spinal cord injury/spinal cord disease.It was reported that the patient was admitted to the hospital on (b)(6) 2022 for respiratory depression, lethargy according to her husband.On (b)(6) 2022, patient had her pump refilled by pentec health with no changes to dose.On (b)(6) 2022 the patient stated she felt "like she was being smothered", so the managing physician ordered the daily dose be reduced by 25%.The pump was interrogated.  the managing physician ordered the pump be decreased by 25%.  the issue was reported to be resolved.The patients weight and medical history were asked but unknown.  the patient was reported alive with no injury.
 
Event Description
Additional information was received from a healthcare provider (hcp) via a company representative who reported that it was unknown if the event was related to the patient¿s devices or therapy, and it was unknown if the cause of the event was determined.
