Event Description
A physician reported that during a cataract extraction with intraocular lens (iol) implant procedure, folding of lenses was at times problematic, as surgeon crimped the trailing haptic with the optic as the lens was folded.The small peripheral nicks were seen in two of the iols that was used.No further information available.
