Event Description
It was reported that the patient experienced infection around the pacemaker three days after implant of an cardiac resynchronization therapy pacemaker (crt-p) with an absorbable envelope.It was noted that there was no draining, arm swollen, and the site "angry" and warm.The crt-p remains in use.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
 
Event Description
Follow up indicated the patient was administered antibiotics, including intravenous antibiotics.
