Event Description
|
Additional information was received from a manufacturer representative (rep) reporting that the patient had a wound at ins and so it was decided to replace and reposition the ins. When connecting the new ins, impedances were high. The cause was assumed to be due to the ins battery (problem in the ins socket) as replacing the extension did not resolve the issue. Therefore, the battery was replaced and a new ins was implanted, which resolved the issue during the surgery. However, the root cause has not been determined.
