Event Description
It was reported that fifteen years post filter placement, the device allegedly fractured with fragments retained in right ventricle and right pulmonary artery.It was further reported that the filter was removed with forceps and retained fragments removed with forceps and snares.Reportedly, patient experienced chest pain.The current status of the patient is unknown.
