Event Description
During a review of the maude database, a distributor found a maude report (15155923) that indicated a discrepancy with an online medtronic quick reference guide for a pulse oximetry flexmax-p sensor.The sensor usage is weight based for most accurate/reliable results.Flexmax-p instructions for use states the product should be used for patients over 20kg.The online quick reference stated for use is less than 20kg.The medtronic quick reference guide has been removed from the medtronic website.No additional details regarding the initial reporter or hospital were provided in the report.
