Event Description
It was reported by the patient that when they stood it felt as if the implanted cardiac device was pacing their diaphragm.The patient was brought in and an interrogation showed a loss of capture by the right ventricular (rv) lead and a chest x-ray showed that the lead had dislodged and was in the left subclavian/innominate vein.The lead was successfully repositioned and remains in use.The patient is enrolled in a clinical trial.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
