Event Description
|
According to the reporter, during laparoscopic colon resection, when an attempt was made to resect the blood vessel with clip, the clips were only loaded and were not fired, but it fell and scattered into the abdominal cavity.The clips were checked visually and removed.A new clip was used to resolve the issue in order to complete the case.There was no patient injury.
