Event Description
|
It was reported that the implantable neurostimulator (ins) seemed to draw a lot of currents.After reviewing the data reports it was reported that the battery life was in the range that could be expected, considering the settings given.Calculating battery longevity according to the lookup table yields approximately 1.6 years.Within the session reports it was also seen that the impedances were measuring 212 ohms and considered low.Information regarding low impedances see (b)(4).

Additional information was received: it was reported that the hcp was more so asking about longevity of battery due to confusion on their part.The event was resolved.

Event Description
|
Additional information was received reporting that the ins reached end of service (eos) earlier than expected.This led to a cessation of stimulation and an increase in symptoms.The expected battery life according to a manual with the current stimulation and impedance should have been about 2.5 years.Information about stimulation and impedance history, however, was incomplete.The ins was replaced (b)(6) 2023.
