Event Description
|
According to the reporter, during a laparoscopic cholecystectomy procedure, when placed in the umbilicus as a camera port and the an choring suture was hung on the slit of the spring grip and when the knob of the spring grip was hold to adjust the height if the trocar it broke in two equal part.There was also an abnormal sound from the device.A new product was used to resolve the issue.There was no patient injury.
