Event Description
It was reported that the infusion device displayed an occlusion error message.The patient was admitted to the emergency room due to hyperglycemia with a blood glucose level of 700 mg/dl.In the emergency room the patient fell into a coma and was subsequently transferred to the intensive care unit.The patient was treated with intravenous insulin injections.
