Event Description
|
It was reported that a few hours after implant, the patient experienced asystole.The patient had bradycardia with pacing at 30 to 40 beats per minute and was without pacing based on electrocardiogram (ecg).Interrogation confirmed the right ventricular (rv) lead threshold increased a lot and suspected of loss of capture.The rv lead was replaced.It was also noted that the left ventricular (lv) lead was not capturing at the time of the event.The lv lead is still in use.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.

Additionally, it was clarified that the rv lead was not replaced, but it was repositioned to another location in the rv.The rv lead remains in use.
