Event Description
It was reported that the patient experienced a pocket infection.A large hematoma was observed in front in the lodge.There was puss discharge which tested positive for citrobacter koserii.Antibiotic medication was administered.The cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) device was explanted and replaced with a leadless implantable pulse generator (ipg) system.The leads and antibacterial envelope were explanted.The patient is a participant in a clinical study.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
