Event Description
The hospital reported failed pre-use calibrations due to sustained airway pressure.This caused an inability to mechanically ventilate.There was no report of patient involvement.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
A ge healthcare service representative performed a checkout of the system and confirmed the reported issue.The ventilator monitoring board was replaced which resolved the issue.
