The actual device was returned for evaluation.Reliability engineering evaluated the device and the reported condition of the device working intermittently was not confirmed. Therefore, the assignable root cause was not determined. However, during evaluation, it was observed that the device was an unusual noise, and the internal components were not lubricated. It was determined that this was due to lack of lubrication, which is improper maintenance. If information is obtained that was not available for the initial medwatch, a follow-up medwatch will be filed as appropriate.
