Event Description
It was reported that the night of the implant procedure, the patient developed a fever of 100.4°f.The patient was diagnosed with bac teremia/septicemia related to the groin puncture.The patient received intravenous (iv) antibiotics and the event was considered resolved fifteen days later.The patient is a participant in the post approval network (pan) product surveillance registry (psr).No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
