Event Description
|
Dexcom was made aware on 03/10/2017 that on (b)(6) 2016, that the patient experienced a skin reaction at the sensor site.
The sensor was inserted at the abdomen on (b)(6) 2016.
Dates are an approximate.
The reaction was described as red, itch, torn, and bleeding with sensor removal.
Affected area was treated with vaseline and baby oil.
Two week later on (b)(6) 2016 patient saw a doctor who provided patient with anointment to treat affected area.
The name of the ointment is not known.
At the time of contact, patient is healthy; skin has healed.
