Dexcom was made aware on 08/18/2017, that on (b)(6) 2017, the patient experienced a skin reaction.The sensor was inserted into the abdomen on (b)(6) 2017.The patient stated that after going on a hike, they felt discomfort under the sensor adhesive on (b)(6) 2017 and noticed hard blisters that were almost chickenpox-like where the sensor was located.The patient visited an endocrinologist on (b)(6) 2017 and was prescribed bactroban.At the time of contact, it was indicated that the patient was in good condition.No additional event or patient information is available.
