Boston scientific received information that this cardiac resynchronization therapy pacemaker (crt-p), and another manufacturer's right ventricular (rv) lead, exhibited high out of range pacing impedance measurements and noise. It was noted the patient was undergoing a procedure at the same time the high impedance measurements were recorded. It was reported that the patient is pacer dependent and had experienced some syncope due to noise on the rv lead. The device had switched to unipolar due to the out of range measurements. The device was reprogrammed back to bipolar and measurements were acceptable. No further changes are planned at this time.No additional adverse patient effects were reported.
