Event Description
It was reported that during a peripheral vascular intervention procedure to treat in-stent restenosis in the superficial femoral artery (sfa), the tip of the turbo elite device became dislodged from the device.Reportedly, this occurred when the catheter was being passed through the sfa and the stent.This device is not indicated for use within a stent.The tip was successfully retrieved with a snare device and the procedure was successfully completed with a second turbo elite device.The patient was unaffected.
