A medtronic representative went to site to test the equipment.Representative stated that the reported issue could not be replicated and the system has been functioning normally.A system checkout was performed and the hardware, software, and instruments passed the system checkout.The system was found to be fully functional.No parts were replaced.No parts have been received by the manufacturer for evaluation.
 
Event Description
A site representative reported that during cervical spine procedure, the software of the navigation system became unresponsive while creating plan and saving it.Representative restarted the system by holding the power button.The procedure was completed with the use of navigation.There was a delay of 10 minutes.No impact on patient outcome.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
The software investigation found that the reported event was related to a software issue.This issue was documented in a medtronic navigation software anomaly tracking database.
