Event Description
|
It was reported that balloon rupture occurred.The 99% stenosed target lesion was located in the moderately tortuous and mildly calcified mid right coronary artery.A 2.50mm x 15mm emerge¿ balloon catheter was advanced for pre-dilatation.However, during the first inflation at 10 atmospheres, the balloon did not inflate.The device was completely removed from the patient and it was noted that the balloon ruptured.The procedure was completed with a different device.No patient complications were reported and the patient's status was stable.
