Event Description
Information was received from a consumer regarding a patient with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for non-malignant pain.It was reported that the patient saw an elective replacement indicator (eri) message on the day prior to the report.The patient stated that they fell 2-3 months ago and their implant site hurt; the patient said they fell on their butt and had to crawl to the bed.The patient also reported that they did not feel stimulation for about a week prior to the report.It was noted that there was dissatisfaction with the ins longevity and the patient was implanted in (b)(6) 2017.The patient was directed to their healthcare professional.No further complications were reported/anticipated.

Additional information was received from the consumer.It was reported that it didn't work anymore less than a year ago.Patient reported no fall, the battery was dead and they had to have their 6th surgery this month.
