A medtronic representative went to the site to test the equipment.
Testing revealed that the system became unresponsive on multiple occasions.
Replacing the computer and reinstalling the software resolved the issue.
The system then passed the system checkout and was found to be fully functional.
The computer was returned to the manufacturer for analysis.
Analysis found that the computer booted normally however bad sectors in the hard drive were found.

Medtronic received information regarding an imaging device being used outside of procedure.
It was reported that the system became unresponsive.
The touch functions and mouse functions would not work on the monitors as well as the rack monitor.
Rebooting the issue fixed it temporarily, but the issue reoccurred.
There was no patient present at the time of the issue.

Additional information: computer was tested and bad sectors on hard drive may have cause the issue.
The hardware investigation found that the reported event was related to a hardware issue.
This issue was documented in a medtronic navigation hardware anomaly tracking database.
