Event Description
Information was received from a healthcare professional (hcp) via a manufacturer representative (rep) regarding a patient who was receiving 1000 mcg/ml fentanyl at 48 mcg/day via an implantable pump for spinal pain.It was reported that a pump flip was confirmed.The patient was going to have a pump replacement and the pump was flipped.The catheter was kinked and twisted numerous times in the pocket.The physician decided to implant a new pump in the patient's buttock.No symptoms were reported.The event date was noted to be (b)(6) 2018.No further issues were reported or anticipated.

Event Description
Additional information was received from a healthcare professional (hcp).The cause of the flipping pump was determined to be that the patient first started riding a stationary bicycle and she also lost weight.The event was considered to be resolved.No further issues were reported or anticipated.
