It was reported that a patient became hospitalized while wearing the omnipod.Parent advised device was placed on the skin, activated, and cannula was properly inserted in the infusion site.However, during the course of use, the device appeared to have stopped delivering insulin.The cannula was found bent at a 90 degree angle, however, no hazard alarm was emitted.Subsequently, patient was hospitalized and treated with insulin.No further information is available.
